Dance Alchemy Advanced Teacher Training Part I

pre-requisite: Dance Alchemy Training Part I, II, and III or equivalent (per Maneesha)

The Advanced Teacher Training is for all those who:

• Have completed the Dance Alchemy Training, are practicing inner alchemy transformative techniques in their daily lives and wish to deepen and practice that ability
• Are interested in or already working as a facilitator of Dance Alchemy
• Are interested in or already working with inner alchemy in individual sessions or as part of another modality which you are trained in
• Want to add to and deepen their skills in working with people using the alchemy of transformation
• Want to expand their group leading and therapeutic skills to be able to really help people effectively

*It is highly likely that this training will only take place this one time.

Both parts will include both receiving new information, skills, research in the field and deepening understanding of what you know, as well as a chance to practice, present your work and receive supportive and creative feedback and supervision. It is also one way you can fulfill your supervision requirement for certification.

Each person’s presentation will bring new understanding, creative ideas, and open new learning – if you hopefully make a few mistakes!

Part One, 5 days April 1-5, 2027

In the 5 days of Part I, we will cover:

• Why movement opens, transforms, heals; different ways of using movement in a session/class.
• Exposing and transforming fears around presenting and receiving feedback.
• Practice and training in guiding others into the heart, or into feeling, exploring.
• Childhood Development, 4 Basic Childhood needs, how to apply in a session or create a group exploration.
• Understanding trauma and the nervous system – Theory and techniques from Somatic Experiencing®️
• Introducing hypnosis, the unconscious, use of voice and permissive language
• Use of therapeutic touch
• Practicing giving Individual sessions or creating/facilitating small group processes, receive helpful feedback and tips
• Helping you with areas where you get stuck or have difficulty in the work – transforming fears and gathering tools for supporting yourself
• Strengthening and Trusting Presence and Transmission
• Strengthening Presence, TRANSMISSION and ability to be a vehicle!

You will rotate leading short guided meditations, brief sharings or warmups each day. There will be plenty of time to practice skills each day.

You will receive an individualized homework assignment for your growth and development for the time between these two parts.
